Scope of Works

The works comprise the remediation of existing doors and the installation of new door sets throughout the Marriott Hotel, London to ensure compliance with current fire safety, acoustic, and operational standards.

The scope includes removal and replacement of noncompliant or damaged doors, frames, and associated ironmongery, as well as upgrading existing door sets where remedial works are required. All new doors will be installed to match specified fire ratings, ensuring continuity of fire compartmentation.

Works will include adjustment and reinstatement of door closers, seals, hinges, and intumescent components, as well as making good to surrounding finishes following installation. All activities will be carried out in a live hotel environment, with careful planning to minimise disruption to guests and operations. Out-of-hours working and phased access will be used where required.

Upon completion, all door sets will be inspected, tested where applicable, and documented, with photographic records and certification provided to confirm compliance and satisfactory installation.

• “100% KPI compliance achieved”
• All access constraints and risks documented for future works planning.
