BM TRADA exists to help make certain that the materials, products and processes that they test, inspect and certify for their customers are always safe, quality, compliant and fit for purpose.

LFS has quadruple BM TRADA certification: Enhanced Security Door, Fire Door Manufacturer, Fire Door Maintenance, Fire Door Installation.

Our FD30 and FD60 door sets are certified by Secured by Design (SBD). The SBD scheme focuses on the design, use, quality control, and the ability to deter or prevent crime. In the case of LFS doors, this certification evidences our commitment to our clients’ safety and security, which is a fundamental element of our product development.

The Contractors Health and Safety Assessment Scheme (CHAS) are an authority on health and safety and compliance. LFS has gained the highest level of CHAS accreditation, Elite, which signifies that LFS has proven compliance across 13 areas of risk management to meet the Common Assessment Standard.

ISO 9001 is a globally recognised standard for quality management. It helps organisations of all sizes and sectors to improve their performance, meet customer expectations and demonstrate their commitment to quality.

ISO 14001 is the internationally recognised standard for environmental management systems (EMS). It provides a framework for organisations to design and implement an EMS, and continually improve their environmental performance.

ISO 45001 provides an internationally recognised framework for managing occupational health and safety risks. It enables organisations to systematically assess hazards and implement risk control measures, leading to reduced workplace injuries, illnesses and incidents.

LFS is Gold Accredited, which verifies that we have been assessed by Constructionline for our credentials in quality management, environmental management, equal opportunities, modern slavery act adherence and anti-bribery and corruption policies.

UK Conformity Assessed (UKCA) marking is a conformity mark that indicates conformity with the applicable requirements for products sold within Great Britain.

The Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) is an international, non-governmental organisation. Their mission is to promote environmentally appropriate, socially beneficial, and economically viable management of the world’s forests through education and certification. As an FSC® accredited organisation, LFS ensures its timber is FSC® certified, meaning we can track its journey from forest to factory floor, to our customer’s front door.
