On Friday 23rd October, the LFS team came together for Wear It Pink Day, raising £521 for Breast Cancer Now.
The day was organised by Harbinder, to raise awareness of breast cancer and to show support for everyone affected by it. As something close to the heart of many of our team members, the day was a great opportunity to get all the departments together for a good cause.
What Is Wear it Pink Day?
Wear It Pink is Breast Cancer Now’s annual fundraising day, which has become one of the biggest fundraising events in the UK. People wear pink and raise money for vital research and for support for people affected by breast cancer. Breast Cancer Now is one of the UK’s leading breast cancer charities.
What Did We Do on the Day?
Everyone wore pink to work and we raised money through a raffle and a cake sale, with most of the cakes made by our own colleagues.
There were some great pink touches, with a few colleagues painting their beards pink and others wearing pink laces and pink sunglasses. James tops the list for spending the most of cake (it’s for a good cause!) and some of our non-cake-eating-colleagues donated generously anyway.

Who Won the Raffle?
- 1st prize: Sasha won a EL&N London gift voucher
- 2nd prize: Rob won prosecco and cake from Bridget’s Bakery London
- 3rd prize: Leigh won a hamper of pink goodies
Thank You To Everyone At LFS
At LFS, our people are the foundation of everything we do. Seeing colleagues bake, donate and join in for a cause that matters to one of the team shows what that looks like day to day.
The total of £521 has been donated to Breast Cancer Now. Harbinder was overwhelmed by the response and would like to say a big thank you to everyone who took part, donated, baked and helped make the day a success.
