What Is LFS Express?
LFS Express is our fast-track fire door service. You choose your door from our FED or Communal Door range, select your hardware and finish, once your payment clears, your doors go straight into a dedicated express production lane. Ten working days later, they arrive.

Same Standards, Just Prioritised
To be clear, fast doesn’t mean lower quality. Every Express door is manufactured to the same high standards as the rest of our range and we hold the same BM TRADA and FIRAS accreditations across the board. The only thing that changes is where your order sits in the production queue.
When You Might Need It
LFS Express fits situations where timing is crucial to your project. Where delivering quickly matters as much as the door itself:
- A fire door survey identifies an urgent replacement is needed.
- A void needs to be compliant before a new tenant moves into a property
- A late design change on site changes your requirements
- A compliance deadline or audit is closer than expected, such as the quarterly fire door checks required under the Fire Safety (England) Regulations 2022 for buildings over 11 metres.
If you’ve had a fire stopping or fire door survey come back with findings that need fixing fast, Express is built for exactly that gap between the ‘problem’ and the ‘solution’.

Good To Know
LFS Express runs on a limited number of production slots per cycle and some of our products, including FD60 doors and some non-standard finishes, are not currently available through the service.
